Annual Thanksgiving Dinner set for Sunday, November 23

The UCC will hold its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner celebration on Sunday, November 23 immediately following the 5:30pm Mass. All UCC members are invited to attend! The UCC provides the turkeys and everyone else is asked to bring a side dish. PLEASE sign up in advance so we know how much turkey to cook! A sign-up sheet is on the board in the office.

2008-09 Goals set by Student Pastoral Council

The Student Pastoral Council has set five primary goals for the 2008-09 academic year. They are: 1. To make the UCC building the hub of all events. 2. To be involved in more pro-life activities. 3. To double the size of the involved UCC members by the end of the school year. 4. To strengthen those in leadership to improve and defend their faith. 5. To have at least one event a month co-sponsored with another Christian organization.

New Community Service Opportunity at Mission Arlington

The UCC will begin volunteering at Mission Arlington every other Saturday starting Oct. 25 from 10am-11am. Please join us for this rewarding experience serving others. Activities include helping sort donations, working in their food bank, reading to children and working in the Christmas shop in December. Mission Arlington is located right across the street from the UTA Bookstore at 201 W. South Street. See you there!

Adoration to now be offered once a month at the UCC

Join us on the third Thursday of each month from 7-9 pm for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at the UCC. Our next date is November 20.
